5K to Heal Hearts

For 21 years, Bo’s Place has participated in the Chevron Houston Marathon’s Run for a Reason program, raising funds and awareness for our mission to support those grieving the death of a loved one.

Although the full and half marathons are sold out, you can still join Team Bo’s Place for the We Are Houston 5K on Saturday, January 16, 2027! Walk or run in support of Bo’s Place and to help heal hearts. All fitness levels are welcome!

Participants commit to raising a minimum of $250 by January 1, 2027, with a fundraising milestone of $175 by December 1, 2026.

All proceeds support Bo’s Place, helping us continue to provide grief support to children, families, and adults in our community. Team members will receive a tech shirt, exclusive monthly newsletters, and invitation to a family-friendly team event leading up to race day.
