April was national Volunteer Appreciation month! Bo’s Place held its annual Volunteer Appreciation Event on Saturday, April 11th. We had over 130 volunteers and their guests in attendance. This year, we enjoyed barbecue cooked (and generously donated) by our longtime supporters, the Over the Hill Gang. We also were thrilled to present our annual 10-year recognition and our new 20-year recognition awards to our incredible volunteers. The door prizes were amazing this year, thanks to the help of Stephanie Magers, one of our volunteers. The event was full of laughter and joy, and the staff ended the night so grateful for all our volunteers who freely give their time. The Magic of Bo’s Place starts with our volunteers.
