Hats Off to a Winning Day!

This year’s Kentucky Derby delivered one of the most exciting and memorable races in recent years and our Hats, Hearts & Horseshoes: A Kentucky Derby Affair captured the excitement while supporting bereaved children, families, and adults. Co-chairs Libby and Mattison May and Shelby and Matthew Seligmann led the successful event. The Champion of Hope Award was presented to NCL, Inc., Heart of Texas Chapter. Guests enjoyed mint juleps, as well as Le Chemin du Roi Brut Champagne at the ice bar, tried their luck at the Bourbon Pull and Racing Wall, placed bids in the live and silent auctions, and cheered each other on through a lively game of Heads or Tails.

The turnout was truly heartwarming, and it’s a testament to the incredible generosity and spirit of our community. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and volunteered to make it such a memorable day!
