On Thursday, October 8, nonprofits, donors, and fund providers across the country will celebrate DAF Day, the national giving day dedicated to donor-advised funds.
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account in which you contribute cash or other assets, receive an immediate tax benefit, and then recommend grants to the nonprofits you care about over time. If you already have a DAF, DAF Day is a perfect moment to put those dollars to work.
At Bo’s Place, that support becomes something tangible: a grief support group where a child can be surrounded by other children who have experienced the death of a loved one, a meal shared with families walking a similar road, a clinician trained and ready when a person reaches out during their difficult grief journey.
If you have a donor-advised fund, please consider recommending a grant to Bo’s Place on October 8. For more information, visit our DAF giving page or reach out to give@bosplace.org.
