On Thursday April 16 and Friday April 17, Bo’s Place hosted the Bluebonnet Council, a gathering of Texas-based organizations that support children who are grieving. Attendees included representatives from Agape Grief Recovery, Bo’s Place, Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas-Hill Country, Children’s Grief Center of El Paso, Christi Center, Experience Camps, Hope Road Center, The National Alliance for Children’s Grief, The WARM Place and Wonders and Worries.

Attendees supported each other and shared ideas, successes, and challenges with others in the field. Topics included programming and activities, community engagement, Spanish programs, fundraising, and self-care. There was a roundtable discussion about the Texas Hill Country Flood response and how we can support each other in future disasters.
