All Bo’s Place groups are for residents of the Greater Houston area (Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller counties). Registration is required and groups are free of charge.
9-week Family Group
The 9-week Family group is an in-person group for families with children ages 3-18 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or person significant to their family. All families attend a New Family Orientation and then the group meets once a week for nine weeks. Families are welcome to participate in a potluck style meal prior to joining their small group. Children are placed in groups with other children their age and adults are placed in groups with other adults.

Meets: Once a week for 9 weeks, Tuesdays (English and Spanish) or Thursdays (English), 6:15 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.
Online Family Group
The Online Family group is for families with children ages 5-18 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or person significant to their family. All families attend a virtual New Family Orientation and then the group meets on Zoom once a week for eight weeks. Children are placed in groups with other children by age and adults are in groups with other adults.

Ongoing Family Group
Families who have completed a 9-week Family Group or Online Family Group and would like additional support have the option to join an in-person Ongoing Group that meets twice a month. A family may attend for as long as they find the program helpful.
