Bo’s Place is thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Skye Espinoza, an Australian Labradoodle! Skye has been generously donated to Bo’s Place by Mary and Gene Alford to serve as our Chief Happiness Officer (CHO), bringing comfort, joy, and unconditional love to all.
At just 10 months old, Skye is already working toward her Good Canine Citizenship certificate, having previously earned her Good Puppy certification. Every day, she is learning what it means to be a therapy dog—listening, loving, and providing support to those who need it most.
As the official Bo’s Place Therapy Dog, Skye will play a vital role in supporting participants, staff, and volunteers in countless ways, including:
- Stress & Anxiety Relief – Helping to reduce stress and promote relaxation.
- Emotional Support – Providing comfort to those experiencing trauma, depression, or grief.
- Boosting Mood & Social Interaction – Encouraging engagement, conversation, and connection.
Therapy dogs have been proven to reduce stress and provide comfort during challenging times. We are so excited for Skye to share her warmth and companionship with our Bo’s Place community!
